I've been itching to give our home office a makeover. Until now, it hasn't been a room that I have spent a lot of time on since all we've been doing in there is...working :/ But then I realized, if I want to look forward to going into the office to work from home, I should spruce it up. AND (between you & I this is the real motivator), I want to create a space that will spark creativity as I continue to work on this blog and connect with all of you!
Here is the Inspiration Board I created to help me plan out my vision of what I want to do with the space. My goal is to create an area that is centered around the "library" feel of the leaning bookshelves I have, mixed with the farmhouse/ rustic style I have throughout the rest of the house. The final piece - and the one that I am most excited to implement - are dual memo/cork boards where I can stick (and easily view) ideas and inspiration.
Antique Black Metal Storage Locker - Pocket Wall Clock - Luxor Area Rug - Distressed White Metal Drawer Pull - Rustoleum Chalk Paint in Charcoal - Decorative Cloths Pins - Antique White Framed Memo Board - Hour Glass - Distressed White Lamp with Linen Shade - White Corbel Book Ends
More to come on how this room makeover goes. In the mean time I would love to hear either how you are decorating your home offices or what is inspiring to make changes in any rooms in your homes!
